Sign the S.H.I.E.L.D. Pledge
Children deserve a digital world shaped by integrity, not influence. Public trust requires openness. Advocacy requires independence. And real child protection requires all of us to be honest about who funds our work and why.
Taking this pledge sends a clear and simple message. We cannot be bought off. We cannot be influenced. We stand with kids, not with the companies harming them.
Protect Kids. Pass Sammy’s Law.
Sammy’s Law is named after 16-year-old Sammy Chapman, who tragically lost his life after a drug dealer contacted him on Snapchat and delivered a pill laced with fentanyl to his home. His story is not unique—every day, kids are targeted online by predators, dealers, and exploitative content.
Sammy’s Law would require social media companies to give parents the choice to use third-party safety tools that send alerts about dangerous online activity, helping families intervene before tragedy strikes. Congress must act now to protect millions of children from the hidden dangers of unregulated platforms.
